Chamber music america conference 2019

All of our mentored online courses come with six weeks of 1-on-1 professional coaching and feedback on your work. It’s like having a personal trainer, but for music! Whether you’re interested in taking a deep dive into production-related topics like Beat Making in Ableton Live, Making Music in Logic Pro X, Songwriting for Producers, or the newly launched Art of Hip-Hop Production, or just want to work with a Mentor directly on a personal project, we can help you reach your musical goals!

I started doing these critiques to solve the practical problems of grading my classes in a meaningful way, and of keeping my early morning sections from staring silently at me with blank expressions. But I’ve noticed that the students take suggestions from the critiques seriously, in a way that they don’t always take the rest of the class. Some kids might blow off assignments and fail to retain technical information from one week to the next, but then they’ll reference a comment about how they should have longer sections in their tracks, months after hearing it.

Community music grants

Some examples of past sessions include adding production magic to your tracks, arranging and finishing musical ideas, producing an EP, or getting help building an audience for your music. We’ll find you a Soundfly Mentor specifically suited to your project who will work with you to figure out what it takes to get it done. Just tell us a little bit about yourself to be matched with a mentor right away.

Program fees: The residency fee, including room, studio, and residency programming, is $400/week ($57/day). Sponsorships are awarded based on merit and need. The cost to apply is $25.
